No doubt none of us expected to be where we are today. Our hearts are heavy during this global pandemic as we face each new day with what we simply can’t control. With that in mind, more women and men are seeking abortions and our services are needed now more than ever and will be even more when this quarantine ceases. YOUR sacrificial gift matters!

We have taken every precaution we can take at this time for the safety of our patients and staff as WE ARE OPEN. I can’t say it is easy to be on the frontline at this time but with the abortion clinics in the state of Florida deemed “essential” we are here also empowering moms and dads to make healthy life-giving choices. The abortion clinics are busy and so are we.

“Margo” wanted to go to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. When she called, they were full so she couldn’t get an appointment and found our number. When Margo arrived, she was she was very determined to abort her child because she got laid off from her job due to COVID-19. She was shocked when she saw her 21-week-old baby on the ultrasound and knew at that point she could not follow through with the abortion.

“Karen” showed up at OWC, late term abortion clinic for her abortion. She was not happy when they hadn’t arrived yet to open their doors. John Barros, sidewalk evangelist referred her to CHOICES, so she came right over. Karen believed she needed to terminate her pregnancy because her boyfriend had just relapsed from drug addiction. She was reassured she could be a good mom and take time to think about it. Karen came back yesterday with her boyfriend for an ultrasound and they both were elated to see their baby and the heartbeat.

This is only a glimpse of what we are opening our doors for every day. Your gift is vital to us to continue to offer hope, truth and love. Thank you for being here in the moment, on the front line, during a global crisis to share hope, the love of Jesus and be a part of saving babies. I believe we will all have new meaning to, “for such a time as this” in the days ahead!
